Dav-Bar Ltd. & Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
At Dav-Bar Ltd. we believe that our company not only has a responsibility to our customers, but to the community as well. That is why Dav-Bar Ltd. jumped at the chance to participate in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Extreme Makeover is a race against time on a project that would ordinarily take months to achieve, a team of designers, hundreds of workmen and even neighbors, have just seven days to completely renovate an entire house – every single room, plus the exterior and landscaping for a deserving family nominated by friends and family. We were a part of the team who worked on renovating the community center across the street from where the Riggins family lived. The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Crew also renovated the Riggin's family home. In the end, the community was able to give back what the Riggins family gave to the community.

Dav-Bar Ltd. & Builder's Blitz / Habitat for Humanity
Dav-Bar, Ltd. gladly participates in the Builders Blitz, a program organized by Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.

Builders Blitz brought together more than a 1000 professional home builders in 130 communities, to build more than 400 simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with low income families. It is a celebration of hard work, dedication and compassion for all of those who participated in the event.
